According to PANews, statistical data from Coingecko reveals that an average of 5300 new crypto tokens have been created daily since 2024. By the beginning of April this year, over 540,000 new tokens have been created, surpassing half of the total 830,000 new tokens created throughout the previous year. In comparison, the number of new tokens issued in 2022 was relatively less, standing at 710,000.
In late February of this year, the Memecoin season made a comeback, and the number of new tokens issued in March 2024 skyrocketed to 195,735, setting a new record. January 2024 also saw a significant number of new token issuances, with a total of 134,647.
