This acquisition was funded through the sale of Strategy's stock, including 1.7 million MSTR shares and 91,200 STRK shares, which generated approximately $555 million. As a result, Strategy now holds 538,200 BTC, accounting for more than 2.5% of Bitcoin’s total supply.
Saylor has consistently advocated for Bitcoin as a primary reserve asset, and his firm intends to maintain $42 billion in BTC by 2027, regardless of market conditions.
