#MarkKarpeles , former head of the collapsed exchange #MtGo , has proposed a Bitcoin hard fork to recover approximately 79,956 $BTC linked to the platform’s 2011 hack. The coins, now worth over $5.2 billion, have remained dormant for more than 15 years.
The draft proposal would introduce a consensus rule allowing the funds at a specific address to be reassigned through a court-supervised rehabilitation process for creditor repayment.
