$BTC Rejected Again at $80K … Fake Breakout or More Downside?

BTC just tapped $79.4K and got sharply rejected, now trading around $78.3K. Price once again failed to hold above the key resistance zone, showing clear weakness and seller pressure at the top.

Right now, market structure is still range-bound with rejection at highs. If BTC holds above $78K, we could see another attempt toward $79.5K – $80K. But if price loses this support, a drop toward $77K – $76.5K is very likely.

This looks like a classic liquidity grab above resistance followed by rejection — not a confirmed breakout yet. Wait for a clean reclaim above $80K for bullish continuation, otherwise expect more sideways or downside movement.

‼️I’m watching $BTC here… and this isn’t going to be an easy breakout.

$BTC — TECHNICAL ANALYSIS 🔥

Price is sitting right under a major supply zone around 79K–80K — and this isn’t just normal resistance.

This is a strong supply / order block where sellers have already shown aggressive reactions.

You can see it clearly:
• Multiple rejections from the same zone
• Wicks getting sold instantly
• No clean acceptance above resistance

And now price is pushing into it again… but from a steep, overextended move.

That’s important.

Because breaking one resistance is easy —
but breaking stacked resistance + supply zone + trendline confluence?

That’s not easy at all.

Right now structure shows:

• Price climbing inside a steep rising channel
• Resistance sitting just above
• Momentum starting to slow

This is where breakouts usually fail the first time.

👉 Clean breakout + hold above 80K → then we can talk about continuation
👉 Rejection here → expect a pullback into 75K–73K zone

No reason to rush entries here.

This is a high-risk, decision zone — not a chase zone.

look at the structure.... lower highs forming on the 4H. $76,200 is the only real support holding this together right now. if that cracks we're not talking about a small dip. We're talking a straight flush to $73,500 minimum.

The 72 hours after a triple rejection are always the most dangerous. This is not the time to be a hero. This is the time to be patient.

watch $76,200 like a hawk. break below it with volume and the next buy zone is way lower than most people are ready for....

Bitcoin's stuck in a $73K-$80K range and it's pure trench warfare right now.

Buyers are stacked at $73K-$74K defending like their life depends on it. Sellers camped at $79K-$80K won't let anything through. This is textbook range compression.

What this means for you:

No breakout = no trend = chop city. If you're not scalping this range, you're getting chopped up. The real alpha comes when one side capitulates and we get a violent breakout or breakdown.

$73K holds? We retest $80K.
$73K breaks? We're looking at $68K-$70K next, possibly lower.

One thing's certain: when this range breaks, the move will be fast and brutal. Position accordingly. This is a trader's game, not a holder's paradise.

Until then, respect the range or get wrecked trying to predict the breakout.

🚨$BTC Market Outlook: Key Resistance Levels and Bearish Scenario Ahead

If you look at BTC across different time frames whether it’s the 2-hour, 4-hour, or even the 8-hour chart you’ll notice a similar pattern forming, just like the one I highlighted in my chart with the blue arrow. If you observe it carefully, BTC was previously moving in a staircase like pattern, but that structure now appears to be broken.

At the moment, it seems like BTC is heading toward a retest of the trendline. Currently, the price is approaching a major resistance level. Even if BTC manages to break this resistance, it will still find it quite difficult to break above the trendline. Overall, BTC is not looking very strong right now. Even if it moves upward, the trendline area lies roughly between $79,500 and $79,800, and crossing $80K itself seems challenging at the moment.

However, even if BTC does manage to cross $80K, there’s no need to worry $82K is another key level from where a strong rejection is likely. As of now, there are two major rejection zones for BTC: first, the resistance level, and second, the trendline. In my view, whether you analyze higher or lower time frames, all indications suggest a potential downward move.

Another important point is that the market is constantly influenced by news, which can cause short-term bullish or bearish movements. So, everything I’ve shared is based on a technical perspective, and the current market news also supports this scenario.

Lastly, I believe many people trade without proper learning, which leads to losses. I’ve been providing guidance for quite some time, and those who have followed me from the beginning are well aware that my analyses have consistently proven to be accurate. $BTC is stuck in the middle for now and liquidations are piling up as you can see in the first screenshot around 414 million dollars worth of short liquidations are there at 80k$ and around 700 million longs will get liquidated around 75k$ price level.
