📉 Let’s look at the brutal crashes from previous cycles:
2014: Dropped from $1,000 to $200 (–80%+) 😱
2018: Crashed from $20,000 to $3,200 (–84%) 💥
2022: Fell from $69,420 to $16,000 (–77%) 🔥
Every 4-year halving cycle has delivered a massive bull run followed by a painful correction.
⚠ Now the big question for 2026…
Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $126,000 in 2025.
As of April 2026, the price is hovering around $71,000 – $73,000 — that’s already a ~43-45% drop from the peak.
If the old pattern repeats, many analysts are warning:
💣 Could
$BTC crash to $25,000 – $40,000 in 2026? 😳
But will it really play out the same way?
Previous crashes were extremely severe (80%+ drawdowns). This time, with massive institutional money flowing in through ETFs, corporate treasuries, and even nation-states buying Bitcoin, the crash could be less brutal.
Many traders see $60,000 – $65,000 as a strong support zone.
History often rhymes, but each cycle is evolving with more adoption and liquidity.
My Take:
Thinking “this time is exactly the same” is dangerous, but saying “this time is totally different” can also be risky. 2026 might bring more bearish pressure, but long-term holders could see this dip as an accumulation opportunity ahead of the 2028 halving.
🤔 What do you think?
Will
$BTC Bitcoin drop to $25k–$40k in 2026, or will it hold above $60k?
Are you planning to HODL through the volatility or take some profits?
