🚀 The price of Bitcoin fell several hundred dollars in the last 24 hours, but managed to recover and even headed towards $28,000. Meanwhile, most altcoins are back in the red, with ETH dropping below $1,600.
📉 BTC failed to conquer the $28,000 level last week and briefly fell to $27,200. However, the bulls quickly emerged and did not allow further decline. Instead, the cryptocurrency started to recover lost value and surged back above $28,000 on Saturday.
🔄 The same scenario repeated itself when BTC failed to conquer the level and went back down. Volatility increases as the asset falls another few hundred dollars. However, it rose back to its current level of around $27,700.
🌐 BTC's market cap remains around $540 billion, but its dominance over altcoins is on the rise again. The metric rose about 1% in the past week and hit a multi-month high above 50% on CMC.
🔻 Other altcoins experienced small declines yesterday, and today experienced more declines. ETH fell more than 1% and is now trading below $1,600. Ripple, Solana, Cardano, Dogecoin, Tron, Toncoin, Polygon, and Polkadot all fell by up to 3% in a day.
✅ ATOM and Tezos are exceptions, up 4.5% and 7% within a day.
