Japanese automaker Honda has stepped into the world of digital assets by accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment option. Ripple's native token XRP and popular memecoin Shiba Inu (SHIB) are among those supported. 🚗💨

Honda Motor Co., a Tokyo-based manufacturer of automobiles, motorcycles and power equipment, has partnered with FCF Pay to allow customers to rent or purchase the company's products in digital currencies instead of fiat. Accepted assets include Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), the two largest cryptocurrencies by market cap, as well as Ripple (XRP), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Binance Coin (BNB), Polkadot (DOT) and many more. Exotic memecoins included in Honda's offering include Pepe Coin (PEPE), Floki Inu (FLOKI), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), Doge Killer (LEASH) and others. These digital assets have risen to the top of the crypto space in recent years, starting with Elon Musk's favorite, Dogecoin (DOGE).
