YouTube is launching A/B testing for video titles, allowing creators to experiment with different title versions on the same video. The platform will automatically cycle through the titles for viewers and track metrics like click-through rates and watch time to identify the most effective title. This feature expands on YouTube’s existing “Test & Compare” tool for thumbnails. Currently available to a select group of creators, it is expected to be more broadly released later this year. Additionally, YouTube has updated its monetization policies to require clearer disclosure of AI-generated content and to crack down on mass-produced, repetitive videos with minimal human involvement.
