For many crypto users, investing in US stocks can feel like entering a completely different financial world.
Different market hours. Traditional brokers. Different settlement systems. And for investors in Myanmar, the US market also operates in a very different time zone.
Binance is now connecting parts of the traditional stock market with the crypto ecosystem through Stocks Trading and bStocks.
So what exactly are bStocks, how can beginners access US stocks through Binance, and how are stocks different from crypto?
Let’s break it down.

1. What are Binance bStocks?
bStocks are tokenized securities designed to provide 1:1 economic exposure to selected US-listed stocks. The corresponding underlying shares are held with regulated custody arrangements.
However, there is an important distinction:
Holding a bStock is not the same as directly owning the underlying company’s stock.
bStocks are tokenized securities issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate. They are represented as tokens on BNB Smart Chain and can be traded on Binance Spot. Binance says eligible bStocks can be traded 24/7, converted back to eligible stocks at a 1:1 ratio, and withdrawn to compatible BNB Smart Chain wallets.
The current lineup is selective rather than the entire US stock market. Binance has highlighted assets including tokenized versions of NVIDIA, Tesla, Circle, Micron and SanDisk, with additional assets potentially added over time. Availability can vary by jurisdiction.

2. bStocks 101: How to access US Stocks through Binance
For beginners, there are two related products to understand:
Binance Stocks Trading:
Eligible users can access thousands of US-listed stocks and ETFs through Binance. Binance currently states that its stock-trading service offers more than 7,000 stocks and ETFs, with fractional investing starting from $5.
bStocks:
Eligible stocks can be represented as tokenized securities and traded on Binance Spot 24/7.

The basic process is:

1. Open your Binance account.
2. Complete the required verification.
3. Check whether Stocks or bStocks are available for your jurisdiction.
4. For direct stock trading, go to the Stocks section and select an eligible US stock or ETF.
5. For bStocks, go to Trade → Spot → bStocks and check the available markets.
6. Review the product information and risk disclosures before buying.
7. Start with an amount you are comfortable with rather than treating the minimum investment as a recommended investment size.

Binance's stock-trading service supports crypto-funded purchases, including supported assets that can be converted to USDC when an order is placed.

For Myanmar users, the key point is to check the Binance app directly for current product eligibility in Myanmar. Financial products can have jurisdiction-specific restrictions, and the availability of bStocks should not be assumed simply because the product exists globally.

3. Getting Started with US Stocks: Beginner Checklist

Before buying your first stock, ask yourself five questions:

1. What am I actually buying?

Understand whether you are buying a direct stock position or a tokenized security such as a bStock.

2. Why am I buying it?

Is your objective long-term investing, diversification, trading, or simply learning about US equities?

3. How much can I afford to lose?

Stocks can fall substantially. A famous company is not automatically a safe investment.

4. What does the company actually do?

Read about its revenue, profits, debt, competitive position and major risks instead of buying purely because the ticker is popular.

5. What is happening in the wider market?

Interest rates, inflation, employment data, Treasury yields, oil prices and geopolitical developments can all affect stock valuations.

A simple beginner approach is to understand the asset first, then decide the position size.

4. Stocks vs Crypto: What is Different?

Stocks and crypto can both rise and fall significantly, but they represent fundamentally different types of assets.

Stocks:

- Represent equity or economic exposure to companies.
- Company earnings and cash flows are major valuation factors.
- Traditional stocks operate within securities-market regulations.
- Trading hours depend on the market and product.
- Corporate events include dividends, stock splits and earnings reports.

Crypto:

- Uses blockchain-based digital assets.
- Value drivers vary enormously between projects.
- Markets generally operate 24/7.
- Self-custody is a major feature.
- Smart-contract, network, tokenomics and protocol risks can be important.

bStocks sit somewhere between these two worlds.

They provide exposure to selected equities while using blockchain infrastructure. Binance states that bStocks can trade 24/7, settle on-chain quickly, and be withdrawn to compatible BNB Smart Chain wallets.

But that flexibility comes with additional considerations, including issuer, custody, regulatory, smart-contract and liquidity risks.

5. US Stock Market News: What Actually Matters?

Not every headline deserves an immediate trade.

For US stock investors, several categories of news deserve regular attention:

Federal Reserve decisions:
Interest-rate expectations can significantly affect stock valuations, particularly growth companies.

CPI and inflation:
Higher-than-expected inflation can influence expectations for future monetary policy.

Employment data:
Jobs and wage data provide information about economic strength and inflation pressure.

Treasury yields:
Rising yields can change the relative attractiveness of stocks and affect valuation multiples.

Corporate earnings:
Revenue, profit margins, guidance and future expectations often matter more than a single headline.

Company-specific events:
Product launches, acquisitions, regulatory developments, management changes and major contract announcements can move individual stocks.

For example, an NVIDIA investor should follow NVIDIA's earnings and AI-related demand, while a Tesla investor may focus more on deliveries, margins, energy and autonomous-driving developments.

The important lesson is to distinguish market-wide news from company-specific news.

6. Why This Matters for Crypto Investors

Crypto investors are already familiar with 24/7 markets, blockchain settlement and self-custody.

bStocks introduce some of those concepts to selected traditional equity exposure.

That creates an interesting bridge between two financial systems.

But tokenization does not remove investment risk.

NVIDIA can fall. Tesla can fall. The US stock market can enter a bear market. A tokenized security can also have additional operational and regulatory considerations.

Therefore, the most useful mindset is not:

“Stocks are safer because they are traditional.”

Nor is it:

“bStocks are better because they are on-chain.”

Instead, understand what you own, what drives its value, how it is structured, and what risks apply to it.

Life is full of unexpected twists, and my crypto trading journey took a wild ride last year. It all started when I needed some extra cash, so I went to borrow a small amount of money from my sister.
When I asked her, she agreed to give it to me, but she added a fun challenge. She looked at me and said, Use that money to trade ENA crypto. If you make a profit, you have to share some of it with me! As soon as she said that, I felt very excited. I imagined myself making smart trades, winning big, and showing off my skills to my sister. With high hopes and big dreams, I quickly opened a margin trading position on $ENA .
Thinking about the profits I was going to make, I went to sleep feeling very happy and relaxed. But the next morning, when I woke up and checked the crypto charts on my phone, my heart stopped. The screen was flashing bright red! My trade was deep in the negative zone, and I was losing money fast. Just last night, I thought I was going to be a successful trader, but by morning, my portfolio was bleeding.
Panicking and not knowing what to do, I ran straight to my sister with my phone in hand. I showed her the screen and said,... Sis, the crypto market crashed last night, and everything is in the red.
My sister looked at the screen, fell silent for a second, and then burst out laughing. She started teasing me out loud, saying, Hey, are you really this unlucky? I wanted to take a cut of your profits, but at this rate, even the original money is going to disappear! She laughed so much that I did not know whether to laugh or cry. 🤣
Later that afternoon, my sister even called her friends to tell them the funny story. She joked, My brother does not trade by looking at technical charts, he trades by looking at my face. Every time he enters a crypto trade, the market turns red. I tried to defend myself by saying, No, the market makers are just jealous of my strategy and manipulated the price! But she just laughed and said, You will never admit you are wrong. Blaming the market is always your first excuse.
So, that is how my ENA crypto trading journey went. I did not make any profit, and I lost my borrowed money, but I became the biggest joke in my family. It was a funny memory, but it also taught me a very important lesson about how risky and unpredictable the crypto market can be.
