MediaMarktSaturn has removed all Ledger products from stores and online platforms amid reports of tampered hardware wallets, a company spokesperson said Tuesday. A user claimed that two Ledger wallets purchased from separate MediaMarkt stores contained unauthorized cables and cellular modules. Ledger said Tuesday that implants transmitted users' recovery phrases over cellular networks and that Ledger was investigating reports beyond Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis. Ledger did not respond to a request asking whether Ledger had confirmed any tampered devices in Europe.
