Citi maintained its buy rating on SpaceX after Starship's 14th test flight succeeded. According to Sina Finance, Citi said the successful flight further strengthened SpaceX's competitive edge in launch services and created conditions for expanding its space infrastructure business.

Citi said investors should focus more on whether Starship can keep achieving key technical breakthroughs, especially full reusability, than on quarterly financial performance in the space business. The flight was the first to deploy payloads into orbit, sending 26 next-generation Starlink V3 satellites into space and marking Starship's first commercial mission.

Citi expects SpaceX to conduct at least one more launch before the end of 2026 and said it may attempt to recover Starship's upper stage with the launch tower's mechanical arms for the first time on Flight 15. The report also highlighted progress in engine fault tolerance, booster recovery simulation, and controlled reentry.
