Bitget said on Sept. 30 that its Protection Fund had been restored to more than $300 million after absorbing approximately $388 million from a Sept. 24 security breach. According to NS3.AI, the exchange said customer balances remained accurate and unaffected.

Users may submit claims for certain losses, but Bitget said each claim will be assessed individually and reimbursement is not guaranteed. The exchange also said USDT withdrawals had reopened on four networks, while remaining cryptocurrency, fiat, and peer-to-peer services were scheduled for Oct. 2.
