Beyond the Chip Boom: Where the Next Wave of AI Value Lies 🚀

While semiconductor giants continue to hit record revenue and predict staggering compute spending, many investors are asking if this is a short-term bubble or a multi-year breakout.

My take? I am structurally BULLISH on the AI revolution, but cautiously pivoting away from crowded hardware trades.

The compute spend isn't a temporary bounce—it’s the foundation of a secular shift. When you combine corporate spending with sovereign-level backing—like proposals for a national "AI Force" and projections that AI could driver up to 25% of U.S. GDP—it becomes clear that state support will provide a long-term floor for the industry. AI has officially transitioned from a corporate tech race to critical national infrastructure.

However, as chip valuations stretch, the highest risk-reward opportunities are moving downstream to the hidden bottlenecks powering this growth:

1. Energy & Power Infrastructure: AI data centers require unprecedented power. Energy suppliers, grid modernization companies, and nuclear energy providers are becoming the true gatekeepers of AI expansion.

2. DePIN & Decentralized Compute: Decentralized physical infrastructure networks in Web3 that aggregate idle global GPU capacity offer a cost-effective solution to the compute shortage.

3. Cybersecurity & Data Privacy: As sovereign entities and enterprises integrate AI deeper into their systems, real-time threat detection and data integrity protocols become mandatory investments.

Rather than chasing mega-cap chip stocks at peak valuations, diversifying into energy, data infrastructure, and decentralized compute protocols offers a stronger margin of safety with massive upside potential.

What’s your current strategy? Are you holding traditional AI stock giants, or rotating into energy and Web3 compute? Let’s discuss below! 👇
