🚀 BINANCE FOR BEGINNERS — LESSON 12
💱 SPOT TRADING — BUY & SELL
Today we move from chart analysis to understanding Spot Trading on Binance.
1️⃣ What is Spot Trading?
Spot trading means buying or selling a cryptocurrency at the current market price.
Example:
You have 100 USDT and want to buy BTC.
You exchange some USDT for BTC.
USDT → BTC
If you later sell the BTC:
BTC → USDT
2️⃣ What is a Trading Pair?
A trading pair shows what you're trading against.
Example:
BTC/USDT
This means you're buying or selling BTC using USDT.
Other examples:
ETH/USDT
BNB/USDT
SOL/USDT
3️⃣ BUY 🟢
When you press Buy, you're using your available quote currency to purchase the cryptocurrency.
Example:
100 USDT → BTC
4️⃣ SELL 🔴
When you press Sell, you're exchanging the cryptocurrency back into the quote currency.
Example:
BTC → USDT
5️⃣ Market vs Limit Order
Market Order → Executes at the best available market price.
Limit Order → You choose the price at which you want to buy or sell. The order executes only if the market reaches that price and sufficient liquidity is available.
⚠️ Important
Before placing a real order, understand:
