Billionaire investor and Draper Associates founder Tim Draper said government spending has not slowed and could lead to either runaway inflation or interest rates high enough to hurt banks. According to ChainCatcher, he also said it is irresponsible for companies such as Apple and Meta not to hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets.
Draper said every company should hold enough Bitcoin to cover at least four weeks of operating expenses, while individuals should keep about six months of Bitcoin reserves. He added that governments should also hold Bitcoin as a hedge, and argued that bank boards face legal and financial exposure if they hold no Bitcoin when cash-holding banks fail.
He also linked his $250,000 Bitcoin price target to the next halving event and the resulting supply shock.
