According to CNBC, French soccer champion Kylian Mbappé said he was ready for change after ending an almost 20-year association with Nike and signing with Swiss sportswear brand On. On said Friday it will work with Mbappé to design high-performance footwear and apparel, while retired player and commentator Thierry Henry will become its new director of football and FC Barcelona player Sydney Schertenleib will help develop and test its soccer apparel. Mbappé said in a joint interview with On co-CEO David Alleman that he thanked Nike for 20 years but felt it was time to move on and join On's football project.
