🚨Major Shift: Crypto Exchanges Must Report User Transactions to DIAN

DIAN has introduced Resolution No. 000240, requiring crypto exchanges and service providers to report user transactions involving Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins like USDT and USDC. The rule follows the OECD’s CARF standards and applies from the 2026 tax year, with first reports due in May 2027.
The reporting will include user identities, transaction values, volumes, and market prices. Transfers above $50,000 will be automatically reported, while non-compliance may lead to penalties of up to 1% of the transaction value.
