So we won't be getting a US CBDC... at least not in the next four years. The real takeaway here is that the Fed is having a serious crisis of faith in the concept. The writing is on the wall: CBDCs are just too messy, too expensive, and just plain unnecessary. Time to get back to the good stuff - decentralized and free.
