I have been exploring a lot of BTCFi and restaking projects lately, and honestly, most of them start sounding the same after a while. Everyone talks about unlocking liquidity, maximizing yield, and building the next major DeFi layer.

That is why Bedrock caught my attention.

From what I see, Bedrock is trying to do more than simple staking. It allows users to deposit assets like BTC, ETH, and selected DePIN assets while receiving liquid restaking tokens that can still be used across DeFi. The goal is straightforward: keep assets productive without completely locking them away.

What I find interesting is the multi-asset approach. Most protocols focus heavily on Ethereum, but Bedrock seems to be building infrastructure around Bitcoin as well, especially through products like uniBTC and brBTC. Considering how much BTC still sits idle, I can understand why that narrative is gaining attention.

At the same time, I think the biggest opportunity is also the biggest risk.

More yield sources, cross-chain integrations, and restaking layers can improve capital efficiency, but they also add complexity. And in crypto, complexity usually means more things can break.
