Updates on Binance Perpetual Futures Funding Rate Calculation (2021-05-11)

Fellow Binancians,
To provide users with a better trading experience, the calculation mechanism of capped funding rate for perpetual contracts will be adjusted at 2021-05-11 1:00 PM (UTC). The specific adjustment details are as follows:
Rules before the adjustment:
Floor = max (Funding Rate of last period - 0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio, -0.75 * (Initial Margin Ratio - Maintenance Margin Ratio))
Cap = min (Funding Rate of last period + 0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio, 0.75 * (Initial Margin Ratio - Maintenance Margin Ratio))
Capped Funding Rate = clamp (Funding Rate, Floor, Cap)
Rules after the adjustment:
Floor = -0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio
Cap = 0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio
Capped Funding Rate = clamp (Funding Rate, Floor, Cap)
