$CCD I used to think of $BTC CCD mainly as the token used to pay fees and secure Concordium. The governance side makes the picture more interesting. CCD holders have been electing Governance Committee members since 2024, and staked CCD still counts toward voting weight. But CCD held in exchange custody doesn’t count for the holder’s weight. Then Protocol 10 added Sponsored Transactions, letting someone else cover the transaction fee for a user. So CCD isn’t sitting in the ecosystem for one reason. It helps secure the chain, powers network activity, and gives holders a role in governance. That utility is what keeps catching my attention with Concordium.
