Sen. Cynthia Lummis underscored the importance of a key vote on the CLARITY Act, saying there may be no other opportunity to move the bill forward.

Cointelegraph reported on Sept. 15 that Lummis said, "It's now or never," and that the day's vote would determine the legislation's fate.

She added that if the bill fails to secure enough support in the vote, efforts to pass the CLARITY Act would effectively collapse.

Lummis has been one of the leading figures pushing the CLARITY Act in the Senate and urged support for the bill ahead of the vote.
