@CoinExToken shutting down after 9 years is something I honestly didn’t see coming.
The exchange ( CoinEx, creators of $CET ) says prolonged market weakness, shrinking trading volume and liquidity, plus rising compliance costs pushed operations beyond what it considered sustainable.
Withdrawals remain open until December 22.
Crypto exchanges disappearing isn’t new, but seeing CoinEx join the list still hits differently.
The market may be healthier in some areas, but running a global CEX clearly isn’t getting any easier.
