Today, I would like to discuss XRP with you — its current market position, growing institutional interest, the development of the XRP Ledger, and where XRP could potentially trade by the end of 2026.

As of August 28, 2026, XRP is trading around $1.42. What makes the current situation particularly interesting is the speed of its recent rally: XRP was trading close to $1.00 on August 18, before climbing as high as approximately $1.69 on August 22.

That kind of move shows that XRP can attract capital very quickly when market sentiment changes.

But unlike previous XRP rallies, the story in 2026 is no longer based purely on speculation.

Institutional Access Has Changed the XRP Market

One of the biggest developments for XRP has been the arrival of regulated investment products.

Several XRP ETFs are now operating in the United States. SEC filings confirm products including the Canary XRP ETF, 21Shares XRP ETF, Bitwise XRP ETF and Grayscale XRP Trust ETF.

This is extremely important for XRP.

Institutional investors no longer necessarily need to buy and custody XRP directly. ETFs provide a more traditional way for funds and professional investors to gain exposure to the asset.

According to Ripple, U.S. spot XRP ETFs had accumulated more than $1.5 billion in net inflows by early March 2026, with hundreds of millions of XRP held by the funds.

If institutional demand continues growing, ETFs could become one of the most important long-term sources of buying pressure for XRP.

XRP Ledger Is Expanding Beyond Payments

XRP has historically been associated with cross-border payments, but the XRP Ledger ecosystem is becoming broader.

Tokenized real-world assets, decentralized trading infrastructure and stablecoin settlement are increasingly becoming part of XRPL's ecosystem.

Ripple reported that real-world assets represented on XRPL had grown to more than $474 million, while total represented value approached $1.5 billion earlier in 2026.

The growth of Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin is another important factor.

As stablecoins and tokenized assets expand on XRP Ledger, the network could potentially become more important for institutional settlement rather than relying exclusively on its original payments narrative.

Regulatory Risk Has Changed

For years, one of the largest problems surrounding XRP was regulatory uncertainty in the United States.

That environment has changed significantly.

The existence of multiple regulated XRP investment products itself demonstrates how different the institutional environment is compared with several years ago. Meanwhile, in August 2026 the SEC proposed a broader regulatory framework designed to provide greater clarity for crypto assets and investment contracts.

For XRP, reduced regulatory uncertainty could be one of the most powerful long-term catalysts.

XRP Price Prediction for the End of 2026

🟢 Bullish Scenario: $2.50–$3.50

If Bitcoin remains strong, institutional ETF demand continues growing and XRP successfully breaks major resistance levels, a move toward $2.50–$3.50 could become possible.

A return above $2.00 would likely attract considerable market attention.

If momentum becomes strong enough, XRP could potentially challenge the psychologically important $3 level before the end of 2026.

🟡 Base Scenario: $1.70–$2.30

This is currently my more realistic scenario.

After XRP's recent aggressive rally from around $1.00 toward $1.50, some consolidation would be completely normal.

If XRP manages to establish support above approximately $1.30–$1.40, another attempt toward $1.70, $2.00 and eventually $2.30 could develop during the final months of the year.

🔴 Bearish Scenario: $0.90–$1.20

XRP remains a volatile cryptocurrency.

If Bitcoin enters another major correction, ETF demand weakens or the broader altcoin market loses liquidity, XRP could give back a significant portion of its recent gains.

The $1.00 area would then become one of the most important psychological support zones.

Key XRP Levels to Watch

$1.40 — current market battle zone.

$1.50–$1.70 — important resistance following the latest rally.

$2.00 — major psychological target.

$2.50 — potential breakout target in a strong bullish continuation.

$3.00 — major long-term psychological level.

$1.00–$1.20 — important support region if the market corrects.

My XRP Outlook

My primary target range for XRP by the end of 2026 is $1.80–$2.30.

The level I would watch most closely is $2.00.

If XRP can break above $2 and maintain that level with strong trading volume, market psychology could change very quickly.

At that point, investors may stop asking whether XRP can recover and start asking whether $2.50, $3.00 or even higher levels could be next.

What makes XRP especially interesting in 2026 is that several major narratives are now coming together at the same time:

institutional ETF access, regulatory clarity, stablecoin growth, tokenization and continued development of the XRP Ledger.

None of these factors guarantee a higher price.

But together they create a considerably stronger fundamental environment than XRP had during many previous market cycles.

For that reason, XRPUSDT could remain one of the most closely watched large-cap cryptocurrencies during the final months of 2026.
