Very simple:
. 75 = GREED 🟢
. 0–24: Extreme Fear 😨
. 25–49: Fear
. 50: Neutral
. 51–74: Greed 75+: Extreme Greed
75, so the market is very bullish / people are buying aggressively.
But ⚠️ 75 does NOT mean BTC must fall now. It means traders are becoming confident and FOMO can increase. CoinMarketCap itself says the index should not be used alone to time the market.
For BTC:
75 = bullish sentiment 🟢, but caution is increasing.
If BTC is also near a major resistance, I'd be more careful with new LONG entries and wait for a pullback/retest.
Easy rule:
🟢 Fear = look for buying opportunities
🟡 Greed = hold/manage risk
🔴 Extreme Greed + major resistance = don't chase
