Storage rarely collapses during peak traffic. It collapses later when responsibility thins out. Walrus tightens that window early. Availability is fixed once and WAL keeps participation steady long after the launch noise fades. When teams return under pressure months later, nothing feels provisional. The system is still doing exactly what it was paid to do.
