What I'd want to know before shipping anything regulated is how mature the compliance tooling actually is around that EVM layer right now, not eventually. Confidential EVM workflows through Hedger sound compelling in a sentence, but a builder needs documentation and audit history before touching real regulated assets. Solidity gets a developer to day one. The surrounding regulatory tooling decides whether day one becomes a real deployment.
