The Institute of Crypto-Assets has officially opened at the Léonard de Vinci center in Paris, aiming to support and conduct research on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. The Institute's scientific board includes 11 experts from major French educational institutions, and a committee of six practitioners will oversee its work. The Institute will focus primarily on educational goals and plans to hold regular public events. France is actively pursuing a leadership role in Europe regarding digital economy and innovations, with French crypto businesses securing 27% of all new investment deals in the fintech sector during H1 2023.
