I'll be honest, when I saw "Binance hacked for $6.3 billion," I expected BNB to get crushed.
Binance reported an estimated impact of $6.3 billion, with around $3 billion frozen so far. That's the biggest hack crypto has ever seen. But look at what BNB actually did. It dropped about 7%, which a Laevitas analyst called "quite modest" for something this big. A few days later it was back above $700.

That made me dig into why.
What I noticed first: the hack didn't touch BNB itself. TRM Labs traced the drained wallets across ten blockchains, and BNB Chain wasn't the target. Then the response. Binance promised to cover all user losses, and said around 95% of affected assets were replaced before reopening withdrawals. CZ also said deposits were beating withdrawals again.

For me, this is the real test of a coin. Not how it moves on a good day, but how it behaves when its own ecosystem gets hit. And BNB has real things holding it up: fee discounts on Binance, gas on BNB Chain, and a quarterly Auto-Burn that keeps reducing supply.

My personal view? BNB deserves to be on the list right after BTC for long-term holders.
But I won't pretend it's risk-free. The 7% drop happened because traders priced in Binance exposure. Your BNB is still tied to Binance's reputation, so size your position accordingly. Just my opinion, not financial advice. $BNB

The real test of an AI agent is what happens when it makes a mistake.

Imagine asking an AI agent to find the cheapest research service for your business. It finds one, pays for access, and gets the job done. Convenient, right? But what if it chooses the wrong service and keeps spending your money?

This is why giving AI more freedom should also mean setting clearer limits.

Kite Passport takes a practical approach. Before an agent spends, the owner approves a session with a budget, a per-transaction cap, and a time limit. The agent can then pay for supported services within those boundaries. It doesn’t need unlimited access to the owner’s funds just to complete one task.

Still, spending limits cannot tell whether the agent chose the right service or trusted bad information. That responsibility needs careful design, too.

My view is simple: don’t judge an AI agent only by how well it performs when everything goes right. Ask how much damage it can cause when something goes wrong, and how easily that damage can be contained.
