Updates on Leverage and Margin Tiers of Multiple USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts (2022-06-16)

Fellow Binancians,

Binance Futures will adjust the margin tiers of the following USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts with new leverage and margin tiers, as reflected in the tables below. The timeline for the upcoming adjustments is as follows:

• Leverage and margin tiers of ONEUSDT, CELRUSDT, ALICEUSDT, LRCUSDT, XTZUSDT, XMRUSDT, ZILUSDT and XLMUSDT Perpetual Contracts will be updated on 2022-06-17 at 12:00 PM (UTC).
• Leverage and margin tiers of AAVEUSDT, GALAUSDT, ATOMUSDT, FTMUSDT, UNIUSDT, SUSHIUSDT, VETUSDT and ALGOUSDT Perpetual Contracts will be updated on 2022-06-20 at 12:00 PM (UTC).

Position value and maintenance margin will be adjusted in each tier. Existing positions opened before the updates will be affected. It is strongly advised to adjust the position and leverage prior to the adjustment in order to avoid any potential liquidation.

• ALGOUSDT, ALICEUSDT, ATOMUSDT, CELRUSDT, GALAUSDT, LRCUSDT, ONEUSDT, SUSHIUSDT, VETUSDT, ZILUSDT

• XTZUSDT, XMRUSDT, XLMUSDT

• FTMUSDT

• AAVEUSDT, UNIUSDT

Notes:

• It is important to note that the maintenance margin change will directly affect liquidation price. Users who held existing positions of these USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts will be affected. To avoid being liquidated (i.e. margin ratio hits 100%), please add more margin to your USDⓈ-M Futures account or reduce your positions. It is recommended to control the margin ratio below 80%.
• Maintenance margin rate change will affect the funding rate. Capped Funding Rate = clamp (Funding Rate, -0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio, 0.75 * Maintenance Margin Ratio). For more on funding rate, please refer to Introduction to Binance Futures Funding Rates.

Note: This announcement was updated on 2022-06-17 to make corrections to the leverage, floor, cap, maintenance margin rate of the FTMUSDT Perpetual Contract before and after the change, and amend the adjustment time for the leverage and margin tiers of ​​impacted USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
