According to Foresight News, Beefy Finance, a DeFi yield aggregator, has issued a statement regarding a security breach at Sonne Finance. The Beefy team acted promptly, suspending all nine Sonne Vaults supported on Optimism and Base within minutes, thereby withdrawing most user funds in a timely manner.
Despite these actions, some vaults on Optimism were still affected to varying degrees, resulting in financial losses for some users. Currently, all Sonne Vaults remain suspended. Beefy Finance is in close communication with Sonne and has pledged to cooperate with them to ensure that any recovered funds or any form of compensation will be returned to the affected users.
