I'm watching India's enforcement story closely — and it just escalated. The Enforcement Directorate searched premises linked to CoinDCX and Delta Exchange.

On Nov 4–5, the ED searched three premises linked to CoinDCX (Neblio Technologies) and Delta Exchange (Excelium Technologies) under FEMA, alleging unauthorised cross-border transactions worth thousands of crores of rupees.

The ED alleges INR deposits were converted to USDT and routed via a Costa Rica-based paper entity to Binance, KuCoin and Gate.io, with futures mirrored 1:1 overseas — and tokenised Apple, Google and Tesla 'stocks' allegedly just derivative positions on Hyperliquid, not real shares.

Both exchanges deny wrongdoing and say operations run normally. No charges yet: these are allegations, and the investigation continues.

Why it matters: if the ED's reading holds, every exchange routing Indian user funds offshore faces a live enforcement risk. $BTC held flat near $75,900 — the market hasn't priced this in yet.

Do you know where your exchange actually executes your trades? DYOR.
