According to ChainCatcher, more than six members of Blockworks’ research team announced their departures on social media on November 6. Those named included senior research analyst Jake Koch-Gallup, research analysts Nick Carpineto and Kunal Doshi, senior protocol strategist Silvio Busonero, and founding research team member Westie Revacc. The posts did not specify reasons for the departures. Koch-Gallup linked them to a strategic shift at Blockworks, saying the company was moving its focus away from research and toward other areas.
On November 3, Blockworks announced that its MCP product was open to all users, allowing them to connect Blockworks to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or other MCP clients to build agents. In June, Blockworks announced its acquisition of crypto research platform Messari.
