Binance proactively cut off SignalPlus API access on November 5, 2026 after the third-party trading platform reported a potential security issue.

On its official X account, Binance said it removed all API keys linked to SignalPlus as an immediate precaution. The exchange stressed that its own systems were unaffected and that user funds remain safe. Traders who used SignalPlus were told to log into Binance directly to review positions and open orders, wait until SignalPlus confirms a full fix before reconnecting any keys, and enable IP whitelisting so keys only work from approved addresses.

Co-founder Changpeng Zhao also urged users who connected SignalPlus elsewhere to revoke those keys, noting it is generally safer not to store exchange API keys with third-party platforms. Binance asked integrated partners to review security controls and report concerns promptly — a fast containment step that keeps customer accounts insulated while the third-party issue is investigated. $BNB
