Ether.fi, a staking protocol running on Ethereum, is partnering with Concrete to create its new multi-asset vault. Concrete operates as the vault division of Blueprint Finance and has secured a $9.5 million investment led by Polychain. Describing itself as an operating system for on-chain finance, Concrete stands out for its architectural discipline approach. While in most vaults, authority is concentrated in a single multisig wallet, in Concrete vaults, authority is programmatically divided among a liquidator who acts quickly in the market, a strategy manager who decides which yields to accept, and a hook manager who sets risk rules.
These roles are secured through code, and the vaults operate in compliance with the ERC-4626 standard. As a result, any wallet or application—on Ethereum and other growing blockchains, as well as with BTC and stablecoins—can integrate with these vaults. Thanks to its multi-asset structure, the vault can consolidate lending positions, liquidity pool (LP) tokens, and balances across different networks into a single pool.
