Korea's regulators just called an emergency security check on Upbit and Bithumb.

After the Binance and Mercado Bitcoin breaches, South Korea's Financial Services Commission is reviewing exchange safeguards. Current rules require at least 80% of assets in cold storage (Odaily, Nov 3).

My take: custody rules are about to become a real selling point for exchanges, and tighter rules could spread beyond Korea. $BTC $ETH

Would you want a higher cold-storage minimum worldwide, or does it just raise costs for users?
