Bitcoin miners had a tougher week on revenue. Hashrate Index’s Nov. 2 roundup puts the 7-day average network hashrate at 1,062 EH/s (down 2.7%) and USD hashprice—estimated revenue per unit of mining power—down 8.7% to $32.86 per PH/s/day. Difficulty rose 5.5% to 148.36T at the Oct. 29 retarget.

At roughly $33 per PH/s/day, the report says many miners may be at or below breakeven, depending on their hardware and power costs. That is an operating-margin warning, not proof of miner capitulation or a reliable signal for future BTC supply. Mempool confirms the 148.36T retarget; CoinWarz’s 7-day hashrate estimate also fell, though providers’ hashrate estimates differ.
