Unpopular Opinion: I'm Not Withdrawing. My Coins Are Staying on Binance!
Binance recorded $4.65 billion in withdrawals during the first 9.5 hours after reopening. That sounds alarming, but the bigger picture tells a different story.
According to the reported figures from November 1 (06:00–15:30 UTC):
Withdrawals: $4.649 billion
Deposits: $1.01 billion
Net outflow: Approximately $3.64 billion
Total Binance assets: $171 billion
Net outflow: Around 2.1% of total assets
All 15 networks were reopened by 12:36 UTC, and withdrawal activity reportedly slowed after the initial rush.
Why I'm Staying on Binance:
Binance remains one of my preferred centralized exchanges.
I still have confidence in the team's response to the security incident.
I use Binance for trading and earning Alpha Points.
The upcoming community rewards campaign could bring more opportunities.
Of course, no exchange or wallet is 100% safe. Self-custody is also a valid choice.
This is my personal opinion, not financial advice. Everyone should make their own decisions and manage risk carefully.
What's your decision?
Are you keeping your coins on Binance or moving them to a personal wallet?
Your money, your choice!
