Crypto markets have another unbelievable story, and this time even a hacker learned an expensive lesson about liquidity!
According to reports, a wallet linked to the Binance hacker dumped 908,793 PROM tokens, reportedly worth around $5 million, into an almost empty Uniswap V2 liquidity pool.
The result? Instead of receiving millions, the wallet received just 0.0316 ETH, worth approximately $71! 😳
But this wasn't the first costly mistake. The same attacker reportedly sold 134.1 million FUN tokens, valued at around $1.17 million before selling, for only $250,000 in ETH.
What's the real lesson here?
In crypto, market value and actual exit value are two completely different things. Liquidity, slippage and trading depth matter just as much as the displayed token price.
Even a wallet holding millions cannot escape market mechanics when liquidity disappears.
