Pump and Dump Tokens: Stop Trading Them Like You’re Guaranteed to Win.

Let me ask you something: When you enter a pump and dump token, do you actually have an exit strategy, or are you just hoping the price will double before it crashes?

I have a simple rule when it comes to these tokens: Never trade pump and dump tokens in futures.

Extreme volatility, sudden reversals and disappearing liquidity can wipe out your margin in seconds. You might catch one pump, but the next move could liquidate your entire position.

In my opinion, a more sensible strategy is to avoid leverage and use Spot or Binance Alpha instead.

Here is how I would approach it:

Buy during the dump: Don't chase green candles or buy when everyone is excited. Wait for a significant price correction and look for a reasonable entry.

Sell during the pump: Before buying, decide your profit target and place a limit sell order.

Take profits without greed: If the price pumps and reaches your target, let your sell order execute rather than waiting endlessly for another 2x.

Manage your risk: Never invest more than you can afford to lose. These tokens can continue dumping, and a limit order cannot guarantee an exit.

The basic strategy is simple:

Buy the fear during the dump. Sell the excitement during the pump. Avoid futures and leverage.

Remember, not every dump will recover, and not every pump will give you an exit opportunity. Liquidity and execution matter.

Don't turn a high risk opportunity into a portfolio disaster just because greed takes control.

Protect your capital first. Profit comes second.
