One trading lesson I keep coming back to is simple: the market doesn't reward impatience.
After a sharp Bitcoin $BTC selloff, seeing prices recover can create a powerful fear of missing out. Suddenly, every green candle looks like the beginning of a rally.
But what if it's only a temporary bounce?
Bitcoin touched approximately $77,646 during Friday's decline. Later market reporting indicated a recovery toward $78,400, showing how quickly sentiment can change.
For this weekend, my bias is cautious consolidation with downside risk until buyers demonstrate stronger control.
🔍 #BTC/USDT Technical Framework
These are illustrative planning zones based on today's reported trading area, not verified live order-book levels.
- Support Zone: $77,600–$78,000
- Resistance Zone: $78,500–$79,000
- Bullish Entry Watch: Above $79,000 after a confirmed breakout and retest
- Bullish Stop Loss: $78,400
- Bullish TP1: $79,500
- Bullish TP2: $80,000
- Bullish TP3: $80,500
- Bullish TP4: $81,000
🐂 Scenario 1: Weekend Recovery
If Bitcoin closes above $79,000 and successfully retests that level as support, buyers may attempt a recovery toward $80,000 and beyond.
I would look for confirmation through candle structure and trading volume rather than buying the first green candle.
🐻 Scenario 2: Another Selloff
If $BTC loses $77,600, the bullish setup becomes invalid.
Potential downside watch levels are $77,000 and $76,500. A breakdown could accelerate if liquidity is thin, so I would avoid guessing where the bottom is.
🧠 My 3 Weekend Trading Rules
1. Protect 1% of capital.
On a $100 account, my planned risk is $1 per trade. Position size must reflect the distance between entry and stop loss. Fees, gaps, and slippage can still increase the actual loss.
2. Avoid FOMO after a crash.
A bounce isn't proof of a reversal. I wait for confirmation rather than buying because I'm afraid the market will leave me behind.
3. Never revenge trade.
If a trade fails, I review my plan instead of immediately opening another position to recover the loss.
💰 My Personal Trading Rule
If Bitcoin doesn't provide a clean setup with a defined stop loss and reasonable reward-to-risk ratio, I don't trade.
Sometimes protecting $100 today is more valuable than chasing a possible $10 profit tonight.

💬 Community Discussion
Will Bitcoin reclaim $80,000 this weekend, or will the market test $76,500 first?
