CEO Rick Wurster said Texas’ cost of living, strong universities and tax advantages over other states have helped the company recruit employees since moving from San Francisco in 2021, according to Bloomberg. Schwab now has almost 11,000 employees in Texas, Wurster told Bloomberg’s Julie Fine.
