Both funds are designed to start with a 95% equity allocation and 5% Bitcoin exposure.
💡 HOW DOES THE STRATEGY WORK?
Instead of simply directing new investor money into Bitcoin, the proposed mechanism uses regular and special dividends generated by stock holdings to increase Bitcoin exposure.
Here’s the key detail:
✅ Dividends are reinvested into Bitcoin exposure at the market open following the dividend ex-date.
✅ The initial Bitcoin allocation is 5% — but that doesn’t mean 5% of the fund’s capital is newly invested in BTC every year.
✅ At quarterly rebalancing, allocations above 5% are reduced to 4.5%, while a 20% cap applies between rebalances, according to the described index rules.
⚠️ AN IMPORTANT CAVEAT
The funds may gain Bitcoin exposure through Bitcoin exchange-traded products (ETPs), futures, and options. That means the strategy doesn’t necessarily rely exclusively on directly held BTC.
