🚨🇬🇧 JUST ANOTHER FRIDAY IN SOUTHEND… UNTIL TWO “TANKS” SHOW UP IN TRAFFIC! 😂
Residents in Southend-on-Sea got an unexpected sight as armoured military vehicles were spotted navigating roadworks on Queensway.
👀 Despite looking like tanks, the vehicles are believed to be Ajax armoured fighting vehicles used by the British Army.
🪖 WHAT IS THE AJAX?
🔹 Designed for reconnaissance and battlefield surveillance.
🔹 Equipped with a powerful 40mm cannon.
🔹 Built to help troops detect threats and provide fire support.
From the battlefield to the British morning commute… apparently even armoured vehicles aren't immune to roadworks! 😂
💬 Be honest: if you saw these rolling past while stuck in traffic, would you grab your phone to film—or just assume it was the most British thing ever?
