Romanian President Nicușor Dan said Russia is seeking to escalate the war and provoke European countries, rather than end it, according to Bloomberg. He said recent drone attacks against ships in Romania’s Black Sea territory were not incidental. Dan also said Europe was unprepared for Russia’s hybrid approach as the region deals with military “collateral damage” from the war in Ukraine and targeted cyberattacks.
