Worldcoin just aimed its identity tech at banks. The token might not need to show up.

On Sunday, Alex Blania launched World ID for banking and finance at Money20/20 — World's first identity package built for one industry: the World ID app, the Zoom deepfake check, agent credentials in beta. Five design partners named, including Bain Capital, VanEck Funds, Pantera Capital.

The market bought the headline: $WLD is around $0.535, up about 9% today, with $0.507 flipping from week-long resistance to support.

The counterweight, from the same coverage: no bank named as a live customer, the partners are only assessing the tech — and World ID works without WLD. A bank verifying your face never touches the token.

Three paths from here:
Bullish — a customer name lands out of Money20/20 (ends tomorrow) → $0.55 breaks, $0.586 next.
Bearish — silence plus token-linkage reality → lose $0.50, then $0.486.
Sideways — $0.50–$0.55 chop until revenue proves real.

My read: real product news, thin token linkage — a 4h close under $0.486 retires the breakout. Levels are on the chart: what's your invalidation? NFA. DYOR.
