#BitcoinSurpasses$83,000
Bitcoin recently bounced back above $80K, and major corporate treasury buyers are continuing to accumulate BTC. But there’s a twist: institutional demand is sending mixed signals. 👀
📊 LATEST BITCOIN ACCUMULATION
🟠 STRIVE ($ASST): Acquired another 1,223 BTC at an average price of approximately $81,734, bringing its total holdings to 36,818 BTC.
💰 Value of the latest purchase: Approximately $100 million at the reported average purchase price.
🚀 STRATEGY ($MSTR): Michael Saylor announced another 267 BTC purchase for approximately $22.1 million, at an average price of $82,900 per BTC.
🏦 Total Strategy holdings: 848,517 BTC, representing more than 4% of Bitcoin’s maximum 21 million supply.
⚠️ THE BIG CONTRAST: CORPORATE BUYING VS. ETF OUTFLOWS
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $228.6 million in net outflows during the week ending October 16, following another heavy week of withdrawals.
What does this tell us?
🔹 Corporate treasuries are continuing to accumulate Bitcoin.
🔹 ETF investors have recently been reducing exposure.
🔹 These are different investor groups using different strategies, so one group’s buying does not automatically cancel out the other’s selling.
📈 WHAT’S NEXT FOR $BTC?
🟢 Bullish scenario: BTC holds above $80K, buying volume improves, and price reclaims the $84K–$85K resistance area. That would provide stronger evidence of recovery.
🔴 Bearish scenario: BTC loses $80K again while ETF outflows continue. Selling pressure could return, making support and liquidity levels especially important.
🧠 MY TAKE: Corporate Bitcoin accumulation is a notable long-term signal, but it is not a guaranteed short-term price catalyst. Strategy and Strive also face financing, liquidity, and treasury-management risks. The market still needs to confirm the recovery through price action and demand.
💬 What do you think? Will corporate buying help Bitcoin reclaim $85K, or will ETF outflows keep pressure on the market?
