What makes Kite interesting to me is the idea of giving AI agents a way to become active participants in the digital economy, rather than keeping them limited to simple conversations.

An agent can be intelligent, but intelligence alone isn’t enough. It needs infrastructure to discover useful opportunities, interact with digital services, coordinate with other agents, and execute tasks based on the goals its user sets.

That’s the part of Kite I find most interesting.

I’m especially curious about what happens when agents can communicate and work with each other instead of every digital task requiring a human to manually connect all the pieces. It could create a completely different way of using online services.

Of course, there are still big challenges ahead. Security, reliability, incentives, coordination, and user control will all become increasingly important as agents take on more responsibility.

For me, the real opportunity isn’t simply “AI agents are the future.” It’s whether the infrastructure being built today can make autonomous agents practical, useful, and trustworthy in the real world.

That’s why Kite is a project I’m keeping an eye on as the agent economy continues to develop.
