His liquidation price is $80,035.7, but there’s an important detail. He has reportedly placed a stop loss at $80,500.
That leaves roughly $464 between his stop loss and liquidation price.
On a position this large, that gap matters. A sharp move, slippage or execution issues could affect how much of the position is actually closed near the intended level.
Personally, I wouldn’t focus only on the $110M headline. A position’s notional value isn't the same as the trader’s capital at risk, and we don't know his full margin setup or whether he has other hedges.
Still, losing another $1.08M on ETH while holding a massive BTC long puts the risk into perspective.
