A new level of privacy from Vitalik Buterin: Ethereum co-founder introduced an experimental "paranoid mode" for his AI agent.

The main task of the system is to reliably hide users, request sources and payment transactions.

How it's arranged under the hood:

Tor and masking traffic: A unique Tor route is generated for each dialogue.

Local reformulation: Requests are transformed directly on the user's device, reducing the risk of deanonymization.

zkAPI and payments: Payment for requests goes through zkAPI in the main Ethereum network (ETH and USDC are supported), and in the future developers promise to significantly reduce commissions.

An important nuance: the system does not give absolute anonymity. Providers still see the final reformulated requests, and the analysis of network traffic can potentially reveal the nature of the calls.

Buterin emphasizes that this is only an open prototype so far. It's too early to talk about mass introduction or immediate impact on the ETH exchange rate, but the trend of integrating AI and privacy technologies in the ecosystem is gaining serious momentum.
